Phil Williams - Sustainability Coach
Phil Williams started his career as a presenter for BBC Educational TV before going behind the camera working as a producer and director. He lived around the world for 18 years working in theatre and television production. While living in Costa Rica he was able to travel into the Amazon Rainforest where he spent time with some of the indigenous people of the Amazon. He returned to the UK in 1996 to launch his one person operation Plan-It Eco. Touring the UK and Europe he has presented programmes, training seminars and speeches to over 500,000 people. Business clients include: BP, GlaxoSmithKline, MVRRS as well as many local authorities.
Phil has worked with the Welsh Government, organisations such as Rotary International, WWF (UK) and continues to work with all levels of education including schools, colleges and universities. Phil’s presentations not only outline the importance of Sustainability, Respect for the Environment and ALL people but also shows how much money (often substantial) can be saved if a company works towards running in a sustainable way.
Phil aims to make us aware of how our everyday actions at work and at home impact on the world and from that awareness encourage us to live more sustainably especially for our children and grand children.
